Nug Nug Reserve

Nug Nug reserve is a wonderful spot for those needing to recharge their batteries. There is no mobile phone nor internet coverage.

We stayed here for three night and really enjoyed the serenity of it all.

The bird life was wonderful with king parrots everywhere. We even saw a Tawny frogmouth on our first night

There was a small creek close by that ran into the Buffalo river, well I had to have a go didn't I?
If this is how the rest of my life will pan out then bring it on!!

Dave it tasted as good as it looked, Freshly caught and on the table within 4 hours.

A short drive from Nug Nug to Bright, a pretty, quaint small town within the Alpine region of Victoria.
Very touristy and as you would expect somewhat overpriced.

From Bright we headed to Mount Beauty via the Tawonga Gap road. The views from the platform at the top are spectacular!

Looking towards Mount Bogong with Mount Beauty in the fore ground. panning from N/E — S/E.

Casper enjoying the fast flowing water of Mount Beauty's river. The weather has been really good to us with adverage daily temperatures in the mid twenty's. However the nights and early mornings have been bitterly cold. This is not a good time to find a problem with the Webasto diesel heater!
