Yeppoon

Poinciana tourist park, Yeppoon June 16th - 20th 2013

We departed Kepple sands gladly and headed to Poinciana tourist park who had no restrictions
on dog size or breed. They only stipulate that dogs are on a leach and are kept under control. We have always keep Casper on a lead and always pick up after him. First afternoon there next doors dog decided to crawl under our bus to see what we were doing, we couldn't believe it. I had a quick chat with the owner, she was not very happy that her dog had to be put on a shorter lead. Then the day after while we were sat outside the bus a neighbour's dog decided to do his business in front of our pitch. Once again I had to be polite and ask its owner to pick up after it. When I told him his dog had just messed in front of our pitch his response was. "Who my dog?" Well as yours is the only dog not on a lead, then yes your dog! I was not impressed at all. He did however come and clean up rather sheepish though. Once again the minority spoiling it for the majority.

Yeppoon esplanade.

Andrea's sun set at Yeppoon

I believe it was a large mud crap, already dead when Andrea photographed it, otherwise it would have been in the pot that night.

 Cooee beach

Not got a clue what this plant is but Andrea really liked it. Some sort of Palm no doubt?

Yeppoon Marina

Andrea did very well in capturing this Swamp Kite.

We enjoyed Yeppoon and Poinciana and would go back again, however we still need to be heading North so plans are underway for our next campsite.
