Liverpool creek

Liverpool Creek (Nr Innisfail Qld) 5th - 8th July 2013

We took the Innisfail - Japoon road heading North as we had heard there was work to be had banana picking and packing, at one of the farms along the road. We came across a small free camp called Liverpool creek and decided to stay a few days. It was a great little place with some great people. The creek was as clear as could be.

From Liverpool creek it was only a short drive to Paronella Park at Mena creek. I personally think that Paronella park is a fantastic place and that Jose Paronella was unbelievable with what he achieved in his life time.

We didn't do the full tour of Paronella park, but what we did see was magical. To me it is straight out of a fairy tale, with a mixture of Hogwarts and the paranormal all rolled into one. A Magical place!

Paronella park suspension bridge, gets a bit of a wobble on as you cross but feels great under foot
