Rifle creek

Rifle creek 11th - 12th July 2013

We over nighted at Rifle creek,  Mount Malloy. A great place for a one nighter (our choice), although the signs state 48 hours it was obvious that some campers had been there a lot longer. One family took nearly all day to decamp before setting off, so you can imagine how long it took to set camp. We think that the local council asked them to leave due to overstaying.

Rifle creek had good amenities and were kept clean and fresh. Although we were a little cramped as it was very busy we managed fine. We were camped quite close to the busy road, but despite this we managed  a good nights sleep.

We followed the paths down to the creek which was wonderfully clear and crisp. Casper loved his afternoon swim.
